The Free The Beats folks have released their latest compilation for free download, featuring tracks from Durban Poison, Brokers, Elliott, Ta-Ku, Ears, Silent Jay, Moonbase Commander, Forcefields, The Silent Titan, Luskin, Testament Of Future Soul, Ishu, Hairy Knuckles, Oisima and Friendships.
They’re an electronic DIY label based in Sydney who appeal for submissions, sometimes under a certain theme, and the releases come out every three months. I’ve discovered quite a few interesting producers through this series, check them out on Facebook for various news and other releases, along with their Bandcamp which has a bunch of records.
