Mezko are one of our favourite bands. Seems like that feeling is pretty common. They’re a kraut-pop electro group from Sydney, with deep running darkwave vibes and an immersive live show that reminds a little of Black Moth Super Rainbow or Manitoba. Like a space rock Daft Punk with mirrored harmonies, dance beats and playful synths.

Their last release was Journey’s End, which came with a cosmic video clip produced by Kat Harley. Never fear, there’s a new Mezko single coming soon.

They’ve put together a Playlist of sounds from their stereo, including Tiga, Black Marble, Dead Sea, Beak>, Die Wilde Jagd, Red Axes Abrao, The Presets, Francis Xavier, Factory Floor, Blanck Mass and The Crying Shames.

Something for the weekend. Or to ease your feelings on Monday.
